Qwest Choice Basic / Plus / Unlimited Long Distance - 1+
Qwest Choice provides three long distance plans for Interstate, Intrastate and IntraLATA calls. The rate and billing is PER LINE .

Qwest Choice Basic Long Distance
Provides a basic plan for low usage LD subscribers with a 7 cent per minute rate for all Interstate, Intrastate, and IntraLATA calls with a low monthly fee of $2.99 per line (MRC).

• Available to business customers in all 14 In-Region states.

Qwest Choice Plus Long Distance
Provides a low per minute rate for businesses who are average LD users. The rate is 5 cents per minute for all Interstate, Intrastate, and IntraLATA calls with a minimum usage per month of $10.00 per line . ($10 usage; zero MRC)

• Available to business customers in all 14 In-Region states.
• All domestic and international usage will contribute to the $10 per month minimum.
• Toll Free usage, taxes, fees, etc. will NOT contribute to the minimum.
• If the business does not use $10 in a month on a particular line, a shortfall penalty will be applied to bring the per line charge up to $10 for that particular line.

Qwest Choice Unlimited Long Distance
Provides a flat rate charge for all domestic Interstate, Intrastate and IntraLATA calls for a flat monthly charge of $25.00 per line (MRC).

Available to business customers in all 14 In-Region states.

• NOT available to any business with more than 10 lines per location.

Commonly known as 800 service, toll free service is primarily used to allow customers a toll free way of calling your business. If you currently have an 800 (8xx) number, the OBJ Group can keep that same number and move it to a more cost effective plan. While our business is providing services to business, we get asked every day which long distance plan is best for home/residential. While no single plan works for everyone - the one we recommend (and use at home ourselves) is from Pioneer Telephone. They have great rates, with no monthly minimum. [Frankly some of the other carriers also have great rates, but the monthly minimum is a killer. Particularly those months when you are on vacation or away from home and don't use the phone. When you add these minimum charges into all your calls they can double the actual cost per minute charges.]

Pioneer Telephone offers two residential plans: One is 2.7 cents per minute for all calls state to state and 4.9 cents per minute for calls inside Colorado (other states rates vary - see the web site link below for specific state information.) This plan bills on whole minute increments so if your calls are relatively long (calls to family) this is the best option. The second plan is 3.25 cents per minute for all calls state to state and 5.9 cents inside Colorado but this bills in 6 second increments after the initial 30 seconds. So if you make shorter calls this is a better deal, even though the per minute rate is a bit higher.

With either plan you get great rates to international locations, and there are no monthly fees (provided you use internet billing, or if you have paper billing mailed to you provided you don't fall below a certain usage minimum and then it's all of 99 cents.)

Lastly, they have one other great feature - Pioneer to Pioneer calling for 1.9 cents per minute. So, you can have your family members sign up for Pioneer as well and then call back and forth for 1.9 cents per minute (state-to-state) - pretty good stuff.
